August 1991
The coup in Moscow succeeds. The Soviet Union doesn't collapse: hardliners take power, the Warsaw Pact is held together by force, and a border crisis in Germany turns hot.
Ninety-One is a fast real-time strategy game about the war that follows. Build a base, run your supply lines, and send late-Cold-War armies into the fight they were built for.
Two sides
Atlantic Compact
US, British and West German armour. Better optics, thicker armour, precision and air power, but every tank is expensive.
Red Directorate
The hardline Soviet bloc. Cheap tanks, heavy artillery and gun-launched missiles, in numbers the other side can't match.

Play the alpha
Ninety-One is in early testing. It runs on Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) with any graphics card from the last ten years, and takes about 50 MB.
Download alpha 0.03 (installer, 28 MB)
Rather not install? Get the portable zip (30 MB), unzip it anywhere and run Ninety-One.exe.
The installer isn't code-signed yet, so Windows may say "Windows protected your PC". Click "More info", then "Run anyway". It installs for your user only.
